How is MS treated?

There are many treatment options for MS which your neurologist will discuss with you on the basis of results of the tests mentioned above.

There is no cure for MS but disease modifying therapies (DMTs) can delay progression and may help to prevent relapses.

Both the MS Society and MS Trust have good sections on the different treatment options.  I particularly like the decision aid provided by the MS Trust which has selection boxes to help you to make the choice based on various preferences.
